this battery did not work. After installing it and plugging in charger the phone continually displayed a message that it was necessary to put in the battery
Garbage.

Don't Buy From This Company. I too purchased this battery to replace a worn out Rumor 2 phone batter. The battery would not take a charge. I charged it over night with no results. Amazon refused to take the battery back and/or refund. (Which I think is wrong) I had to send it to the manufacturer for repair/replacement. I have not heard or received anything back, it's been over a 2 weeks. Now I have a phone that been down for 3+ weeks, waiting on a battery that should have worked right out of the package. Lenmar is not a reputable company as far as I am concerned. I'll never buy from them again.
